Seltenes Propaganda-Album zur achten Mustermesse in Bari 1938. Mit zeittypischen Fotomontagen u. a. von Michele Ficarelli (1898-1970), Gisberto Luxardo (1908-1974) und dem Studio Ditta Fratelli Antonelli. – „Die Messe entstand 1929 aus der gemeinsamen Initiative der Stadt Bari, der Provinzverwaltung und der Handelskammer von Bari und findet seitdem ununterbrochen statt. Die erste Ausgabe der internationalen Handelsmesse, nach der die Fiera del Levante benannt ist, fand 1930 statt. Das Logo, ein Schiff mit gesetzten Segeln, wurde von dem futuristischen Maler Araca (Enzo Forlivesi Montanari, 1898–1989) entworfen. Seitdem wird sie jährlich im September veranstaltet, mit Ausnahme der Jahre 1940 bis 1946, als die Hauptstadt Apuliens durch den Krieg schwer beschädigt wurde“ (Wikipedia). – Einband etwas angestaubt und leicht fleckig, sonst gut erhalten.

The first edition of the international trade fair, after which the Fiera del Levante is named, took place in 1930. The logo—a ship with its sails set—was designed by the Futurist painter Araca (Enzo Forlivesi Montanari, 1898–1989).
